That one of my old friends is friends with my ex... Again. She had introduced me to said ex. they were friends before we became friends

Me and said ex had a very passionate and volatile relationship.

This ex royally fucked up both my relationship with brain and her relationship with her husband.

It fucked up her relationship so bad that they called off their engagement and broke up for several months.

I don't talk to her much anymore. But I got bored and looked her up on face book. And there he was.

.... Why does this bug me so much?

It makes my decision to cut ties with her more solid. I’ve been wishy washy about it for a while.

Me and brain got drunk one day and he told me he didn't like her because she had a part in the bad period in our relationship in the beginning.

And I understood that so I didn't ask him to do 'couple' things anymore with them. And just slowly we grew apart.

Now this.

I feel betrayed.
But I don't think I have a right to feel that way.

Good Afternoon lover's,
I recently received a comment from one of my readers (who is awesome by the way). Frugal Mom asked me 'what is it'? No she wasn't asking me what i had between my toes, or stuck in my teeth. She was asking me what is it that makes me want to be in the military.

My first thought was that she was being snarky. Then i re-read the comment and realized at that moment that some people have no experience or very limited experience with the military.

I thought this would be an interesting blog topic. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not freaking GI BARBIE. What i am is a part time civilian, who's all military at heart
I'm an E-5 in the USAFR
I'm a reservist. I serve 1 weekend a month & 2 weeks a year at minimum. I often spend at least double that if not triple that serving.
I am a 3rd generation military member
And I'm so dedicated and in love with the military life its not even funny.

So I open the floors up to questions.
What have you wanted to ask? do you have any questions? Do you think its silly?
I may not have all the answers, but i can point you in the right direction for the information your seeking.

I've seen these done on other blogs, but never figured i was interesting enough to have anything you'd want to ask me. I'm kind of excited for the questions.

Next up - Camping! (Loads of Pictures!)

So we went camping at Wyld Cat a couple weeks ago. I had a freaking blast. it was the week before i went back to work. my last hur-ah if you will. I had so much fun. I went with the Hus-beast, his dad (FIL), His Friend S, and her boyfriend R.

We had so much fun.
we went Monday thru Thursday.
Monday we got there and set up camp. S & R brought a friggin keg. so we were set. hahaha.

Tuesday we went on an 8 mile hike back through the amazing back country. So so fun.

Wednesday we all sort of did our own thing. S & R wen't to a local lake to fish. FIL went and hung out with another camper. We went and did some 4x4ing. it was a blast. we just went up some old foresting roads and had fun. although part of it was kinda scrarey.

Thursday it started raining HARD. So i'm glad thats the day we left. So awesome. I had so much fun i am so glad we got to do that before i went back to work!!

Suprise to me!

So i was compltey convinced that there was something going on sunday that i wasn't paying attention to saturday. lol.
I had known we were going to my father in law's house but i wasn't ready for what happend when we got there.
My family and friends threw me a Suprise Welcome Home Party! i was so shocked when i walked in the door and saw everyone. I was floored!!

It was so much fun.
my parents and brother were there. all of B's siblings were there (he has 2 sisters and 1 brother) 2 of the 3 brought their significant others. B's mom and step dad were there. then my BFF showed up with my godson. who by the way i was texting the whole time we were driving up to his house. and she pretended to be not going anywhere that night. sneaky devil. i had so much fun!!

I can't wait to take more pictures and see what this baby can do. i'm so excited. after months in the heat mine's not doing so hot. lol. but i'm still freaking geeked about this camera.

Holy Crap! I'm in a little bit of awe right now. I keep reading all these blogs and am in awe of them and their whity posts that keep me laughing. Now i get an award! Holy Crap!! Brooke has totally honored me with the Sisterhood Award. Brooke and her cute little wee-one have sent me so many pictures to keep me sane. I big puffy heart her. She's one of the sweetest people i've 'met' and i feel blessed to know her.

- When the Rain Comes - Rachey is such a raw honest person. I love her to death. She's always willing to help out and love anyone. but she's also so honest and will tell you when you're being dumb, that is a true friend.

- A Baby Maybe... - Bunnies/Bev has a great since of humor. She had a long TTC journey and maintained an amazing attitude through out. Now that she's blessed with a beautiful baby girl she doesn't blog as much as she used to. but now she's doing her "blog olympics". lol.

- End the asshattery already! - I freaking love this girl. She seriously has the best since of humor in my opinion. Her and I agree a lot on a bunch of differant things. and there's nothing like a friend who hates all the same people you hate. lol.

- Just Jules - This is a blog i just came across in the past couple weeks. but i'm now an avid reader of hers. She always so honest and true, as well as funny. I can't help but be in total awe.

- Cuttings on a Blog - This is another new blog that i'm totally in love with. I can't remember exactly how i stumbled over here. but again i'm a little obsessed.

Before i joined the military, my dad was getting ready to deploy. I left for basic in march and my dad left for over seas in april. So my mom lost both of us in a months period. every week (almost daily) we would listen to this song and watch the video as a family. Now with my pending deployment it hits home harder still!!
