So i just found out through discussion at work. that if i leave for military duty and i'm gone for longer than 3 months i come back as a new employee. like i get no benefits no vacation, nothing.
I find this VERY hard to believe. I think i'm going to have to look into this furtner.

that sounds like a bunch of crap!!!! How crappy!!
Our best man came back from Iraq after an 18 month tour to 12 weeks of (paid) vacation time that he had at his job before he left... I don't know if that is company policy.
I don't think they can do that. I am pretty sure they kind of have to "pause" your status.
