I'm Loved

I was nominated for another award (back on jan 12th - thanks for letting me know lady!) by the lovely Mrs. S @ Him + Me.

As is tradition with recipients of this award, I will fill you in on 10 things that you may (or may not!) want to know about me.

1) I'm an interior design student (on hold, but still). I love seeing things come together. I like seeing things happen from concept to culmination. I like having an idea in my head and seeing it come to life.

2) My goal with my degree isn't to design multi-million dollar homes, although that would be cool. My goal with my design degree is to help the busy soccer mom who struggles to stay sain. i want to go in and help organize her life to make it easier for her in her world. I want to help that busy family who can't stay on top of things, because they don't know where its supposed to go. i want to help THAT family. THAT family was my family. Living in chaos causes stress. Stress is bad for the body. I want to help people.

3) I LOVE clipping coupons. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! I like taking that 10 extra minutes to clip coupons to save that money. Seeing that total at the end of the check out go lower, and lower, and lower is such a high.

4) I love to work out. I love going to the gym. my love for the gym and working out and that euphoric high I get from working out has caused 2 of my overly obese family members to join the gym too. I'm so so excited and happy for them.

5) When B's out of town, i can't sleep with out the TV on. CAN.NOT.SLEEP.

6) When I'm out of town, I sleep with the TV on, and the Fan on. no matter what the temp. i have to have the fan on.

7) I'm engrossed with TRASH TV. 16 & Pregnant, Tool Academy, Biggest Loser, Bad Girls Club... yep, i love them all

8) I have a little problem with blogs. I love them! I am currently following 232 blogs. i can't imagine 'unfollowing' any of them.

9) I also love to bake! cakes, cookies, breads, etc. but my favorite is by far cupcakes. I love cupcakes. I love to think about new ideas for cupcakes, new things to do for people with cupcakes. I love cupcakes. love love love.

10) I am so in love with my husband. Its sad how much I'm in love with him. We don't show our love like most mushy-gushy couples. but its sick how much i love that man.

1. I have a serious shower ritual. If it gets interrupted, it throws off my whole day.
2. I have a mini mild serious obsession with rubber duckies.
3. I hurt myself more than any person I've ever known.
4. I'd rather be barefoot than ever wear shoes any day. but i have over 30 pairs of shoes.
5. I'm a camping, rafting, hiking girl mixed with a hair salon, pedicure, reformed tom boy.
6. I've asked for power tools or guns for Christmas every year since i was 12
7. If I had the money, I'd quit my job and open a bakery.

My Eggs & Ham

Well that sucked

So Tuesday after lunch i was on my way to clock in from lunch and i sorta kinda maybe fell down the flight of stairs leading from my office to the warehouse.

I decided to try and tough it out work the rest of the day (3.5-4 hours). my thigh and back hurt a lot but i need the money.

Then today i woke up and my neck hurt so bad i couldn't turn my head. So B and I decided to go to urgent Care. I got examined, x-ray, and got medicine.

i have a extreme strain on my neck. I'm supposed to wear a neck brace until i can turn my head with out pain.

i have a bruised back, bruised ribs, bruised hip, and a bruised thigh. I'm supposed alternate heat and ice on my thigh and back which were the worst spots.

but the best part of our trip to urgent care is.... the prescription vending machine. this thing was SO FREAKING COOL.

The nurse walks over & punches in a code. apparently they can upload you Rx to the machine. Its like a one stop shop. so bad ass.

and I'm a push over.

so we all know about my BFF A.

so her car died. her mom's friend gave her their extra car.
so when A got her tax return, she put her car in the shop.

well then her mom's friend calls and asks for their car back.

so she didn't have a car to get to work today. so being the friend i offered to let her borrow my car for TODAY! because she said her friend J would be willing to take her to work (they work together) on Tuesday because that's when J works too.

so i get a text message from A today
"ummmm i won't have my car until next week =/"
"ugh gotta get a new engine"

I'm like FUCK! the only way i could talked B into it was because it was 1 day only.

so i texted her back
"did you talk to J about getting a ride tomorrow"

her response was:
"she won't txt me back"

My husband is now mad because we keep bailing her out at OUR expense. and now she has my car.

i don't know what to do.
i love her.
i love my godson.
i don't want to leave her stranded. but damn.

what do i do? i don't know what to do.

then i get a text saying:
"i don't know what to do"
all i can say is "me either, I'm trying"
but I'm not willing to put a strain on me and B to help her out. I'm so lost.


so i finally got a text from her saying
"I know. thanks for letting me use your car today. dunno what to do... my mom needs to step up".

I'll leave it like that. I'm getting my car back. she knows it.

but i still feel like crap.

I'm just going to have to stop bailing her out.

i already watch our godson every Sunday for free. while she works. and do what ever i can for her.

i love her, but man does she test me.
